it just bothers me. I mean there's nothing wrong with being smart but she always talks about it and it always sounds like she's trying to make me feel stupid. she says things like, "oh, I'm taking this class, and you probably won't be good at it. You have to be really smart to take it, which isn't a problem for me because i'm on the honor roll." and I'm not exaggerating that. whenever she gets a test back she always walks around and holds the test in her hand just so I can see it and a lot of times she corrects the way I speak. what can I say to her WITHOUT sounding too rude? I'm dying to say something!! do you have the better body? bigger boobs?

"What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?" should keep her busy for awhile. choose "African" if she asks"African or European"?You could confront her about it. Do it where no one else is. Just sit down with her and talk. Maybe, if your having problems with some homework ask her for help. It may satisfy her ego enough to the point where she'll stop. If she comments like, "oh this is easy!" Just say something like, "I need to be sure. And look, I know your smart and I acknowledge that but its hurting my feelings when you keep putting it out there. When I talk to you, I feel like you are trying to say that your better than me. It hurts a lot and I would appreciate it if you would try to be a little more open minded about how I feel when you say those things."

wht i say to her is exactly how i feel. after that she is allapologetic, and doesnt do it as often. and when she does, she always hugs me and says sorry, your not dumb!JUT TEL ER SHE DUPID!! i once jokingly said to my friend "omggg look what i got! a 100!? IM SO SMART! mehhh a 98? wow retard. " then was like "how do you like it hoe!?" and laughed and she kinda got the hint that it was annoying what she does and backed down alittle. or else just tell her to shove her advanced chemistry class calculator up her *** if she puts the honor roll list in your face one more time. haha jk.
idk im always like "WOW A HUNDRED? DO YOU WANT ME TO CLAP FOR YOU?!?!?!" and she gets the hint.

No friend should put another friend down like this -- This chick sounds like a total ***** with a huge ego, and my guess it is because the ***** is totally unsecure with herself in other ways, therefore puts you down in a field where she believes you can not compete.Maybe you should just be blunt and come right out with it. but i dont think there will be a non rude way to say it, because no matter what she will prob take it affensively, i would just kinda be like you know im not that stupid and maybe the next time she says something like that tell her that shes drawing attention to herselfIf you really want to tell her, then just tell her.
