Looking for a job in Tokyo

  • Hi all,

    Staying in Tokyo for 1.5 months....
    Been looking for a job, but all require to speak good Japanese...:eek:
    I even look for a temp job, but still need to speak Japanese......:bawling:
    As for myself I'm just a beginner, still learning Japanese.:note:

    Anyone able to help or advice me......:relief:
    I don't mind any kind of job as long there is income to pay for my bills...:ramen:

  • Are you native English? if you are you shouldn't have a problem finding a job as an English teacher.

    If you aren't a native English teacher, and you have a visa I am sure it isn't to hard to find a job either.


  • Yes, I am a Singaporean Chinese native English and Mandarin speaker.
    But I felt those English School in Japan still prefer to employ American English teacher than Chinese English speaker. sad to said that....:(

    For the Visa wise no problem, cos my wife she is a Japanese.:p
