many muslims, including my mom, dont allow their kids to listen to music. and i really love music but she always tells me to stop listening to music (when she sees me)
i really try not to let her find out. but what if one day she DOES see my songs?! theyre over 400! and so what should i tell her in order for her to be comfortable about her with me listening to music.
so what type of music are muslims ALLOWED to listen to? rock, pop, metal, rap, etc?! or what? and if u were in my place what would u tell my mom..?
PLZ I NEED ADVICE!!tell ur mom u only listen to a song in like one month or when there's a holiday and actually think music is boring. she might believe you, and not panic when she sees you listening to a song!i wish someone would tell the teenage cruisers, in my city, they can't listen to their loud music with heavy bass!!!I do not know much about the ways of muslims. only that they are taught from birth to live by their ways. so this was how your mom was taught. I do not have any idea why they have this rule, but I have been told that in their religion, they say music is evil. for my self, I do not know how it could be or why they think this. I have listen to music all my life, and have never seen anything evil about it. unless it involves some kind of cult thing. but I do not believe there many of them around. but if your mom does catch you with music. ask her why they believe in such a rule. she may know, but also she may not. it may just be that she was taught this so she lives by it. but in my life, I have not seen anything evil about it. unless you go to a party and get drunk and go wild. but that would be caused from what you were drinking, not the music. I wish I knew more about the muslims way, to help you with this a little more. but all I know is what I have been told.im,not muslim,,and dont think i would like to be,,i love music of all types,,,but,,some religions are very strict,,,and sounds like your mom,,is a true blue muslim,,,,so i think i would hide my music,,,cause you have to have injoyment in your life,,,and wen you get older u will b abel to choose,,what religion,,u really want to be,,,,PEACEPerhaps your mum is trying to discourage you from associating with western customs. Maybe you would be allowed to listen to music which comes from the muslim culture.
However i know many muslims who listen to all kinds of music, it might just be your mother who has a problem with it.
I suggest that you don't let your religion stop you from doing what you like. Have faith, and believe in something, but don't be pushed around by it. :)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
